Amir is a board-certified neurosurgeon, proud Tampa YPO member, and the founder of EVO360 Ai based whole body MRI platform. He co-founded the Neuspine Institute in 2017 and remains actively involved in its growth and development. His wife, Joanna, is a Nurse Practitioner and the CEO/founder of a local med spa, Glow Aesthetics. Together, they have three children—Ari (9), Mila (8), and Kian (5)—who are all students at Berkeley Preparatory School. The Ahmadians enjoy spending time together as a family, traveling, and cherishing time with friends and those closest to them.

Dan, Pascalle & Gabe live in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Dan has been a longterm resident of Florida and Pascalle is a British import. Dan leads Advisory Board to Go, which forms business advisory boards for privately held companies while coaching c-level executives to accelerate their business. Pascalle is the Surgical Contracting Director for Health First. Gabe, like most 15 year olds, is an avid gamer. Gabe is currently learning to cook and he also likes to perfect pretty awesome card tricks in his spare time. He has a much-loved cat named Hershey. Pascalle and Dan plan to sell it all and begin a 10-year journey to travel the world starting in the summer of ‘28. To say they like travel would be an understatement.

Marlos & Fernanda Mayumi Barbosa

Marlos is the CEO of Connecta Satellite Solutions, a role he assumed in 2022 following an acquisition led by A111 Capital, where he previously served as an Operating Partner. Fernanda, a former investment banking analyst in São Paulo, is now a dedicated stay-at-home mom.

Their children, Olivia and Rafael, attend Skycrest Christian School. Olivia is a passionate middle schooler with a love for the performing arts and has taken on several leading roles at the Straz Center in Tampa. Rafael — true to his Brazilian roots — was practically born with a soccer ball at his feet, but lately, he’s taken a surprising turn: he’s become deeply engaged with ice hockey.

And keeping it all in check from her throne on the windowsill is Stevie Nicks, the family’s majestic Norwegian Forest cat — equal parts diva and cuddle queen.

Weekends in the Barbosa household are a mix of Straz Center rehearsals, hockey rinks, and backyard BBQs — a strange but beautiful blend of Broadway, Brazil, and Tampa Bay.

Mike and Minda met in NYC where Mike attended graduate school at Columbia and Minda was completing her fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery. Mike is a real estate developer focusing on residential and self storage projects across the southeast US and Minda is an Anesthesiologist, working at various institutions in Tampa. They have 2 girls, Estelle that’s 8 and Orly that is 5. Both girls attend Berkeley prep. Traveling is one of our family's passions, so we love to attend these retreats whenever we can!

Jeff is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at InLight Real Estate, and Southeast industrial development and acquisitions firm. Shelley is the former head of training and development for an insurance company and is now a stay-at-home mom of 4 kids and 2 pups.

Owen is a rising Junior and Summer is a rising Freshman at Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Maverick is a rising sixth grader and Piper is a rising fourth grader at Palmer Catholic Academy in Ponte Vedra Beach.

When not at their kids’ sporting events, the Berryhills love to spend time at the beach, on their boat or in Asheville.

Ben Burgess is the founder and owner of Burgess Civil.  A sitework and roadway contractor based in Tampa, FL.  Ben also serves as the Forum Chair for the YPO Construction Industry Network.  Ben and Jess have a blended family of 14 year old Maddon, 11 year old Margot and 9 year old Beatrice. This will be our fourth year in a row attending the YPO Family event.  It has become a summer tradition for our family.  We had an amazing time at the Breakers, Nemacolin and Puerto Rico.  Our kids are looking forward to seeing some of their friends they usually only get to see on these YPO family retreats.  Right now, all the kids are participating in flag football.  Beatrice is also into gymnastics and singing. We can’t wait to make the short trip to Boca Grande for this year’s family retreat!

Vincent M. Chillura (“Vince”) is EVP and Chief Banking Officer of Florida West Commercial Banking at Valley National Bank (“VLY”). He oversees all aspects of the Commercial Bank covering Central Florida down to Naples with Tampa Bay being its core. Vince manages a talented pool of Bankers that oversee a regional balance sheet of over $8MM in assets and he has boasted success banking companies of all sizes and lending on some large, complex, and exciting projects. He is proud to be helping grow investment and development opportunities in the Tampa Bay Community and in other markets customers may pursue and his commercial banking team focuses on both commercial real estate transactions and the commercial and industrial space inclusive of corporate banking, business banking, and professional and executive banking. Vince has deep roots in Tampa and a passion for his community and serves on the board of Hopewill Foundation and is a founding member of the Tampa Pig Jig on the River benefitting Nephcure Kidney International. Vince is also an active real estate investor and owns and manages a host of assets including boutique multifamily properties in Hyde Park. He is a graduate of Berkeley Prep and the University of Florida with a Degree in Business Administration. Vince is married to his wife Lisa, and they live in South Tampa with their three daughters. Vince enjoys spending his free time with his family coupled with staying active, fit, and enjoying the outdoors.

The Cigich family—Erin, Rich, Charlotte (11), and Lila (9)—live in Sarasota with their three dogs and a shared love of adventure. Erin is the CEO of Perform[cb], a performance marketing company that drives customer acquisition for the world’s top brands; she joined the business in 2008 and has served as CEO since 2015. Rich is a cardiac nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The two met at the University of Florida and are proud Gators, Universal annual passholders, and Disney Cruise aficionados. Charlotte is a rising 7th grader at Pine View School who’s passionate about sharks, Legos, and asking big questions. Lila is a rising 4th grader at Southside Elementary with a creative streak—she’s into soccer, design, and keeping everyone on their toes. With Rich’s parents nearby and lots of family memories in Boca Grande, the Cigich crew is excited to be part of this special retreat.

Lauren Compton is the CEO and second-generation steward of Thomas Financial.  Her husband Dick is the founder of EZ Mulch, a mulch installation company.

Liam is a rising senior at Plant where he plays on the Varsity Basketball team.  He is a fourth generation Panther.  Lola is a rising Sophomore at Tampa Prep.  She is a junior swim coach for the TYCC swim team.  Dallas is the family’s King Charles Cavalier.  She enjoys hunting lizards and lounging.

Matthew Crum, President of FrankCrum Insurance is here with his wife, Kathleen Crum. They reside in Dunedin, Florida, with their three children Matthew (9), Kip (7), and Tennyson (1). Their beloved nanny, Jo, is here with them this week. They have a black lab, Banks, named after their favorite family vacation spot in the Outer Banks. They are always busy shuttling their children to and from sports and if you can’t find them at the hockey rink they’ll be seaside at Carlouel Yacht Club.

Charles, Anjie, Elodie (8), Charlie (6), and Collins (3) have deep roots in the Tampa community. Charles is the co-founder and Managing Partner of MD Healthcare Partners (now Vesey Street Capital Partners), a leading healthcare focused private equity fund with offices in Tampa and New York. Anjie is a former news anchor with Fox 13 in Tampa and now runs the Davis household. Elodie and Charlie attend St. Mary’s Episcopal Day School and Collins looks to follow in their footsteps.

Matt, Colleen, Lily (8), and Liam (6) live in Sarasota, Florida, and love spending time together as a family. Matt owns and operates AC Warehouse in Bradenton, FL, along with several other businesses in the home services and sales industries. He is also a member of YPO Florida and is passionate about building values-driven companies that invest in people. Colleen is a former teacher and currently a stay-at-home mom. Lily is a bright, curious third grader who loves to read, while Liam is an imaginative and athletic first grader. The family enjoys boating, beach days, pickleball and chasing around their chihuahua, Romeo.

Jaeline Dure is the Executive Administration Manager at Miles Ahead Brands, where she has proudly worked for five years supporting YPO FL Chapter Chair Chris Whitney and YPO FL Finance Officer Dan Singer. Her husband, Elisson Dure, is a Key Account Manager at Fanatics and earned his bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Sofia (3) and Alexis (17). The Dure family shares a love for great food, sunny beach days, and creating lasting memories together.

Casey Ellison is CEO of Ellison Companies in Tampa, Florida. He has over 20 years of experience building and developing projects across all sectors, with an emphasis on place-making projects. In 2022, Casey co-founded Ellison Development which is responsible for multiple large master-plan projects, including The Central in downtown St. Petersburg and Central City YMCA in the Tampa Heights neighborhood. As CEO of Ellison Construction, Casey has been part of impactful Tampa projects, including Oxford Exchange, Stovall House, Armature Works, and Hotel Haya. Ellison Construction also is a preferred partner for the Hillsborough County School Board, University of Tampa, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Casey has served on the Board of Fellows for the University of Tampa since 2013 and served as Chair in 2024. He’s on the Young President’s Organization (YPO) Board of Directors, the Executive Committee for the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council (EDC), and is the current co-chair for The Heroes Ball, an annual black-tie event to benefit St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, Casey is married and the father of two daughters.

Nick, Jen, Alena, Callaway, Juliet, and Carter—plus their lovable pup, Honey—are thrilled to be part of this year’s Family Retreat in Boca Grande. Nick is the co-founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving, a purpose-driven, national franchise brand providing moving and junk removal services. Jen is a former teacher, now full-time mom, who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for their four kids. Alena (10) loves cheerleading and flag football, Callaway (8) plays softball and is full of spirit, Juliet (5) is a sweetheart, and Carter (3) is the fun-loving caboose of the crew. The family lives in Tampa and enjoys traveling, beach days, and movie nights together. They’re looking forward to building lifelong memories and connections at the retreat.

Phil and Brenda both grew up in the Tampa Bay Area. Phil graduated from Georgia Tech (made it out) and Brenda from the University of Virginia (top of her class). They have lived in Atlanta, San Francisco, and London, and currently reside in Largo. They are actively involved with The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation, the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, and the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg. Their five children - Ella (12), Tommy (12), Phillip (11), Patrick (9), and Henry (6) - fill their home with energy (fighting) and laughter (yelling).

Krishna and Kal live in Tampa with their two children, Nari (10) and Anika (7). Together, Krishna and Kal run a family business managing seven franchised brands in the food, health, and wellness space, with their highest growth opportunities in Marco’s Pizza, Dave’s Hot Chicken, and PopUp Bagels. Krishna is also the CEO and founder of With Behavioral Health, a therapy practice focused on making mental health care more approachable. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball (socially) and devouring any information she can on mastering AI. Kal spends most of his days overseeing operations for their food brands—when he’s not on the golf course. Nari is an avid soccer, basketball, and golf player who’s also passionate about gaming and VR (with aspirations to be the CEO of Sandbox VR). Anika loves soccer, gymnastics, and dance, and never misses a chance to show off her flair for fashion.

Erica Dhawan Gupta and Rahul Gupta have been married for 12 years and relocated to St. Petersburg from New York City three years ago with their two children, Kimaya (6) and Rohan (5).

Rahul is the Managing Partner of RKG Holdings, a privately held investment firm with a diversified portfolio spanning real estate, private businesses, and venture funds. The firm specializes in value-driven commercial real estate—particularly retail and hospitality assets in high-growth markets. With a background in finance and a hands-on approach to asset selection and management, Rahul focuses on properties with strong fundamentals, long-term growth potential, and positive community impact. He is also a strategic advisor for Mudita Venture Partners, a venture capital firm.
 

As a family, they share a love for dancing, great food and wine, international travel, and outdoor adventures.

Greg and Mollie met at summer camp in Coastal North Carolina, reunited years later, and have been married for 15 years. It’s a little like a Nicholas Sparks novel! Greg leads a boutique Wealth Management firm with a special focus on business owners, nonprofits and generational financial planning. Outside of work he is committed to community service and leadership (St. Pete Free Clinic, St. Anthony’s Hospital/Baycare, Cub Scouts, St. Pete Chamber). He is on the Hydrow rowing machine most mornings and at the helm of a sailboat as often as possible. He dabbles in DIY renovation projects on old houses and loves talking about unique investment opportunities (especially local). Mollie, the family’s culinary artist, started out as an insurance underwriter. When she realized she could marry her interest in science with her love of food, she promptly went back to get a Masters and become a Registered Dietitian! She loves being outdoors, long brisk walks, and strolling the produce aisle to dream up her famous salads. It is her goal to become the Mrs. Frizzle of Food and she makes sure

Javi and Monica Illas recently built their home in Tampa, where they’re raising their two children, Vivian and Alexander, who attend Carrollwood Day School. Javi owns and operates McDonald’s franchises. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and fishing. 

Monica, originally from Missouri, is a licensed real estate advisor with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. She enjoys tennis and volunteering at their children’s school. As a family, they love traveling and spending time outdoors.

The Jimersons are a high-velocity family that treats airports like pit stops, summer break like a logistics puzzle, and weeknights like full-blown track meets. We specialize in motion, ambition, and the occasional shared dinner. Ashley is a former educator and guidance counselor, now moonlighting as a full-time chauffeur, scheduling czar, and emotional support specialist for adolescent athletes; she’s the glue, the calendar, and the calm. Lila (14) is a rising freshman who dances, cheers on varsity, and plays lacrosse like she’s got somewhere to be (she does), and this summer she’s trading Florida heat for Icelandic glaciers and STEM at Brown—brains 100% from Mom. Ford (13) is a rising 7th grade midfielder and sharpshooting guard who suits up for Bolles and elite club teams, who will spend the summer scoring goals, getting buckets, and devouring post-game Chick-fil-A across seven states. Olive (5ish?) is our Italian Greyhound—part romantic, part caffeinated squirrel—nobly staying home to guard the couch and judge our life choices. Charlie (barely still YPO-eligible but already walking like he’s 75) is CEO of Jimerson Birr, a full-service business law firm across Florida and Georgia working to end the billable hour and deliver tech-powered, predictably priced legal solutions to help SMBs thrive. Warning: approach the Jimersons with caution as shenanigans and activity tend to follow.

Chris and Jaime are both North Florida natives. Chris grew up in Jacksonville and Jaime grew up in St. Augustine. They worked in Los Angeles and Chicago after college before returning to Jacksonville to raise their family. Chris is the Regional President of PNC Bank for North Florida. Jaime is a former social worker who is currently raising three children. Taylor (10) is a rising 5th grader, Cora (8) is a rising 3rd grader, and Emree (4) is entering VPK.

Sean and Maria LaNeve are passionate entrepreneurs and proud parents. Sean is the founder of PainTeq, a medical device company committed to advancing minimally invasive solutions for chronic low back pain.

Together, they co-founded their second venture, GH LABB, a clinical laboratory focused on innovative, technology-driven toxicology testing.

Together, they balance the energy of business leadership with the joy of raising their family. Joining for the retreat are Luca (8), a gifted young artist with a creative spirit, and Augusta (2), full of adventurous energy and a newfound love for swimming.

Family time is sacred to the LaNeve's, whether it's traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or gathering around the table for a home-cooked meal. They are excited to share this special retreat experience and create lasting memories with fellow YPO families.

Gray, MaeLee, and Autumn live in Jacksonville Florida. We love the beach, hiking, mountain climbing, and bike riding.
Autumn is a rising 7th grader at the Bolles Bartram campus and enjoys dance, tennis, art , and rock wall climbing. Gray’s company (iVenture) helps Florida businesses solve IT, cloud, and cybersecurity challenges.

Tyler and Ashford Mathews live in Jacksonville, Florida, where they’re raising three energetic boys—Clark (7),  Harris (5), and Warren (3). Tyler is the CEO of ETM, Florida’s leading infrastructure and development consulting firm, and Ashford is deeply involved in their local church and community. The Mathews family loves spending time outdoors, whether it's boating on the St. Johns or chasing the boys on two wheels. They’re passionate about cultivating a home filled with faith, adventure, and curiosity. Tyler and Ashford met after college and have been married for nearly a decade.

Mills Menser owns several jewelry-related companies, most notably Diamond Banc, which operates nationwide to provide consumers with options to access the liquidity their fine jewelry and watches possess via immediate sale, Jewelry Equity Loan, or consignment sale. He is also an active real estate investor and operator. Suzanne Menser is an engaged mother of our three children: Subella Kate (13), Foster (10), and Marlow (6). As a family, we love to travel and live a healthy, dynamic, and growth-focused life. We moved to Sarasota in August of 2023, and Mills joined YPO in 2024. We are excited and grateful to become active in the YPO community and look forward to connecting with other Florida families, learning new things, gaining new perspectives, and forming meaningful relationships.

Monica and Walter, originally from Colombia, have called the Tampa Bay area home for 11 years, along with their two kids, Camila (14) and Santiago (11), both proud students at Berkeley Prep. Camila loves books and music, while Santiago is an all-sports enthusiast with a special passion for soccer. Their Vizsla, Canela, proudly claims the role of third child. Monica is the Founder and CEO of MAS Global, a U.S.-based digital engineering firm with a delivery hub in Medellín. MAS partners with mid-size to Fortune 1000 companies, including JPMorgan, Dell, and Johnson Controls, to modernize enterprise platforms, unlock the value of data, and implement AI solutions that accelerate business outcomes through proprietary accelerators and nearshore teams. Walter, a chemist by training, is CEO of the home, leads family projects and investments, and supports the MAS Future Foundation, which empowers women and Latinos in tech. As a family, they love traveling, paddleboarding, playing pickleball, and exploring new cultures.

Kevin & Lauren O'Connell

Kevin and Lauren O’Connell are proud residents of Tampa, where they have lived since 2014. Lauren hails from Palm Harbor, while Kevin originally comes from New York. Their journey together began after graduating from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.

Kevin embarked on his professional journey by establishing a financial planning practice affiliated with Northwestern Mutual, where he now serves as the Managing Partner for Northwestern Mutual - Greater Tampa Bay. Lauren pursued higher education at the University of Florida, earning her master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and now successfully runs her own construction company, DeLarco Design & Development.

Together, they have three wonderful children: Brielle, who will be turning 13 next week, Hadley, 10, and Bennett, 8. Their family life is filled with activity, spending their free time at softball tournaments, swim meets, plays, recitals, and on the baseball and soccer fields.

While they are thrilled to be attending the YPO Family retreat, they're equally excited about returning home to welcome a new addition to their family—a six-week-old puppy named Ford.

Al, Dana and Asher live in Tampa. Al and Dana met in NYC and moved to Tampa 11 years ago and love putting roots here. Dana is the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Director for Skinny Mixes. She joined Skinny Mixes in 2023 and this has been her 5th company to help grow and eventually position it for sale. Al is in Commercial Real Estate and in his spare time loves coaching Asher in soccer. Asher will be in 3rd grade this fall at Berkeley Preparatory School. He is an avid rock climber, loves soccer and speed Rubik’s cubes.  

Edwin & Sumre Perkins

Edwin and Sumre Perkins, married since 2011, are the proud parents of three children—Gavin (12), Livia (10), and Owen (8). Together, they share a deep commitment to their Christian values and enjoy giving back through community and faith-based programs.

Edwin leads the solar division at Moss, a Florida-based construction firm, where he has overseen the development of over solar energy projects across North America. With degrees from the University of Florida in architecture, construction management, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Edwin also serves on industry and academic boards, advocating for sustainable energy and education.

Sumre holds advanced degrees in education from the University of Arizona and has dedicated her career to serving children in underserved communities through charter school leadership in Nevada and Florida.

We’re the Richards — Brent, Alexis, Theo (8), Lucas (almost 6!), and Georgia (2). Our family is rooted in love, movement, and adventure. Whether it’s hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, or impromptu backyard baseball, we believe shared experiences build the best memories.

Alexis is the heart and force of our family — a brilliant and bold Greek-Italian from Atlanta who blends entrepreneurship, culinary artistry, and deep devotion to her family. She is the owner of Bamboo Juice and was a longtime Googler. She’s also the social engine of our crew, making sure we live fully and stay connected. 

Brent leads IMG Academy and is passionate about the role of sports as a platform for life. He’s focused on helping kids grow into resilient, grounded, and ambitious adults — starting with his own three at home. 

Theo is our thoughtful competitor, a budding athlete and card collector who’s also learning guitar. 

Lucas is our spark plug — all energy, all curiosity, all heart. 

Georgia is the newest addition, already holding court as the queen of the house, keeping her brothers on their toes.

Our family motto is “Go Live Hard” — we believe in being grateful, staying optimistic, learning constantly, and doing the hard things together. 

Jyric & Maisha Sims

Sims relocated to Tampa in 2023 and 2024, respectively. 

Jyric is the President of HCA West Florida Division, which is comprised of 16 hospitals and 22,000 employees. 

Jyric and Maisha have been married for 13 years and met in college while attending LSU. 

Maisha has a Master's of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern in Dallas and Jyric has a Ph.D. from Southern University in Baton Rouge. 

Sabriya is attending Wilson middle. She is bilingual (Spanish and English), plays the viola, and loves playing Volley Ball. 

Noah is attending Gorrie elementary. He is bilingual (Spanish and English), plays the cello, and loves playing soccer.

Wes is President/CEO of Perimeter Solutions Group.  Perimeter Solutions Group’s is the premier turn-key provider of perimeter security including permanent and temporary barriers and fencing, gates, barriers, automated access control, and repair services in the Sunbelt US with locations in Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, and Denver.  PSG's strategy includes continued rapid organic growth coupled with strategic M&A for geographic and service offering expansion. 

Wes was born and raised in Tampa, Florida.  Wes grew up hunting, fishing, and playing sports. Attended and played on every team at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Day School and played football and baseball at Plant High School where he graduated from in 2003. 

Wes is married (Hayley Tolbert) with two children (Son-Smith, 10 years old and Daughter-Georgia, 8 years old).  Wes enjoys coaching and attending his children’s numerous sports and activities.  Wes is a life-long, passionate outdoorsman and still hunts and fishes as much as possible.

Ben & Megan Vinson

The Vinsons consist of Megan (the boss), Ben, our 3 sons Andrew (11), Smith (8) and Davis (5), and our labradoodle Sally.  The boys are a spirited bunch -- our oldest recently won a Geography Bee and the younger two just wrapped up a great baseball season.  Ben's firm Vinson Law represents Veterans with asbestos claims, won a class action trial last year, and helps those injured through no fault of their own get justice.  Our mission is helping others then ourselves -- we have 75 staff helping 3,000 clients and growing!  Having a strong family support group is a huge part of making that possible.  Our YPO family is also important to us, especially our forum, and Megan's sister Kristin Greco continues to dominate at all things business and YPO.  We're looking forward to a great retreat!

Drew and Morgan Weatherford live in Tampa, Florida, with their four children, Kennedy (9), Emerson (7), Truett (5), and Jackson (3). Rooted in faith, family, and service, they are committed to raising their children with strong values and a heart for others.

Drew is a founding partner of Weatherford Capital, Central Florida’s largest private equity firm, managing over $1 billion in assets. He also cofounded Collegiate Athletic Solutions, the first committed capital fund focused on the collegiate ecosystem. He serves on multiple company boards, including IMG Academy, and previously cofounded Strategos Group, a government and business advisory firm.

Morgan leads a faith-based gym ministry from their home while pursuing a Master’s in seminary. Together, Drew and Morgan support local service initiatives and strive to leave a legacy defined by generosity, character, and community.
